We propose to explore feedback forms and movement games that will inspire us to understand better:
Ourselves
Ourselves with others
Ourselves with life
to transform obstacles into new opportunities.
We consider our body from an ecological perspective, recognising our bodies are in a state of constant change, influenced by the people and environment around us.
We observe and explore our environment to discover and understand ourselves, and vice versa we observe and explore ourselves to discover and better understand our environment.
What we are looking for is to improve our communication, our collaboration and our coordination with those ever changing systems, so that we might better navigate our inner and outer landscapes.
This workshop is inspired by the research of Fighting Monkey Practice and the intention is to serve as an introduction or continuation to the principles that guide it, pursuing a sustainable and smart movement quality that allows us to age more gracefully while maintaining our capabilities and helps us stay engaged with life so that we can enjoy it more fully.
This material is suitable for beginners and advanced movers; dancers, martial artists, athletes and any person who is interested in exploring and developing the capacities of the human animal.
