Human-Moves sessions are play and fitness sessions born from a collaboration between TripSpace and Evolve Move Play coach, Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and Tree Climber Ben Medder.


These 75 minutes group sessions are designed for all level of ability and aim at improving overall strength, flexibility, agility, spatial awareness, physical resilience yet more and foremost they aim to rekindle the child-like ability to connect and discover ones own unique and incredible human body. We learn and practice to move like humans, in the unwavering belief that a meaningful movement practice creates an embodied life and that an embodied life leads to happiness.
The classes incorporate general movement training, body weight training, mobility development exercises , partnering tasks, playfulness and creativity, expect to run, jump, climb, dance , lift, throw and generally rough and tumble.
The atmosphere in the sessions is welcoming, and the content is delivered in an inclusive and easy going manner. Expect to feel good, happy, and flexibly strong!

Bio

Ben Medder is a movement coach and play facilitator for adults and families. Ben shares his ideas to a vibrant community on how to reclaim one's innate play drive, use movement as a tool for personal and social development and discovery, and why moving like a human and with the seasons is important to him.
Ben has a mixed bag of movement experience from dabbling in various martial arts and various team and individual sports. He has spent the last 8 years learning as much as can from a wide variety of movement teachers and practitioners ranging from Parkour, dance, partner interaction/games and natural movement to gymnastic strength and mobility development. He has taught internationally across the UK and Europe and is widely known as a natural movement influencer. He is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and is Evolve Move Play’s first international coach. Ben’s love of natural movement, reconnection with nature, human connection and play drives everything he does, and he is constantly learning as much as he can from a wide variety of sources.
